Unholy Rollers take League Championship for 2010

Mad Rollin’ Dolls ended their sixth season on May 22, with the Unholy Rollers claiming the league championship for 2010...Final scores were Unholy Rollers –104, Vaudeville Vixens ­­– 93...In the race for third and fourth place, the Reservoir Dolls defeated the Quad Squad, 133 – 105.

A 19–3 jam from Twisted Halo 20 minutes into the first half and a second half punctuated by short, low-scoring jams gave the Unholy Rollers the advantage they needed to keep the Vaudeville Vixens at bay.

In the evening's grudge match, the Reservoir Dolls grew a 69-62 halftime lead to as much as 36 before closing the bout with a win. Vicious van GoGo finished her first season in a Reservoir Dolls uniform with yet another stunning performance and 65 total points.

MRD outgrew its original skating rink venue and moved all its events to the Alliant Energy Center for this season. They attracted up to 2,400 fans to bouts in the Coliseum and Exhibition Halls...Total attendance for the season was more than 10,000...Thanks, fans, for loving MRD...We love you right back!
